CREATING A UNIFIED BRAND FOR A CHESAPEAKE COUNTRY COUNTY
Choptank was retained by the county’s business development agency to create a new brand identity.
We designed a community engagement process and convened stakeholders in government, business, education, and nonprofit sectors. With broad support, the resulting marketing platform and creative identity – “Water Moves Us” – was launched in Fall 2013.
Today, Water Moves Us is a unified county-wide brand adopted by the county’s tourism and admin offices.
Over eight years, we developed multiple ad campaigns and generated significant media coverage – including a front-page Baltimore Sun piece – and served as the county’s strategic marketing partner.
